[Main ingredient] Doxycycline hydrochloride.

The product is a yellow crystalline powder.

[Pharmacological action] Tetracycline antibiotics. Doxycyclin reversibly binds to the receptor on the 30S subunit of the bacterial ribosome, interferes with the formation of ribosome complex between tRNA and mRNA, prevents the extension of the peptide chain and inhibits the synthesis of proteins, thus rapidly inhibiting the growth and reproduction of bacteria. Doxycycline can inhibit both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. The bacteria showed cross-resistance to doxycycline and oxytetracycline.

Internal absorption is fast, less affected by food, high bioavailability, strong tissue penetration, wide distribution, long maintenance time of effective blood drug concentration. The protein binding rate in pigs was 93%.

[Indications] Used for the treatment of swine, chicken gram-positive bacteria, negative bacteria caused by Escherichia coli, salmonella, pasteulopathy and mycoplasma caused by respiratory diseases.

[Usage and dosage] Measured by doxycycline. Mixed drink: 25 ~ 50mg for pigs and 300mg for chickens per 1L of water. For 3-5 days in a row.

[Adverse reactions] Long-term application may cause double infection and liver damage.

[Precautions] Avoid taking it with feed with high calcium content.

[Off period] 28 days. The laying period of laying hens is forbidden.
