Ampromycin's unique chemical structure can resist the inactivation of enzymes encoded by multiple plasmids, so gram-negative bacteria are less resistant to it, and many pathogenic Escherichia coli and Salmonella isolated from animals are sensitive to it. Ampromycin and other aminoglycosides do not have cross-resistance caused by chromosomal mutations.

Pharmacokinetic internal administration can be partially absorbed (especially in newborn animals), the absorbed amount is dose-dependent and decreases with age of the animal. Drugs are excreted in their original form by the kidneys. The half-life of calving was 4.4 hours, and that of sheep, rabbit and chicken was 0.8 ~ 1.7 hours respectively.

[Usage and dosage] in terms of this product. Mixed drink: 0.5-1.0g chicken for every 1L of water for 5 consecutive days; 0.025g of pig per 1kg body weight for 7 consecutive days.
