[Pharmacological action] Pharmacodynamics Flurfenicol belongs to the amidyl alcohols broad-spectrum antibiotic, belongs to bacteriostatic agent, and plays a role by binding with the ribosome 50S subunit to inhibit the synthesis of bacterial protein. It has strong antibacterial activity against many kinds of gram-positive bacteria and gram-negative bacteria. Pasteurella hemolyticus, Pasteurella polyides and Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae are highly sensitive to fluorophenicol. In vitro flufenicol showed similar or stronger antibacterial activity to many microorganisms, and some bacteria resistant to amideol due to acetylation, such as Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae, may still be sensitive to flufenicol.

It is mainly used for bacterial diseases of pig, chicken and fish caused by sensitive bacteria. Such as hemolytic Pasteurella, pasteurella multocida and actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae caused by bovine, swine respiratory diseases. Typhoid and paratyphoid caused by salmonella, chicken cholera, chicken pullorosis, escherichia coli disease, etc. Fish bacterial septicemia, enteritis and erythema caused by Pasteurella fischeri, Vibrio, Staphylococcus aureus, hydrophila, enteritis, etc.

Pharmacokinetic fluorobenzene can be absorbed rapidly by internal administration, and the therapeutic concentration in blood can be reached after about 1 hour, and the peak blood concentration can be reached after 1 to 3 hours. The bioavailability is above 80%. Flurfenicol is widely distributed in animals and can cross the blood-brain barrier. Mainly in the original form from the urine, a small amount of excretion with feces.

[Drug interaction] (1) Macrolides and lincomines have the same action target as this product, and both are combined with the bacterial ribosome 50S subunit, which can produce mutual antagonistic effect when used in combination.

(2) May antagonize the bactericidal activity of penicillins or aminoglycosides, but has not been demonstrated in animals.

[Function and application] Amideol antibiotics. Used for bacterial diseases caused by Pasteurella and Escherichia coli.

[Usage and dosage] in terms of this product. Internal use: 0.1 ~ 0.15g for pigs and chickens per 1kg body weight. Use twice a day for 3-5 days. Fish 50 ~ 75mg. Use once a day for 3-5 days.

[Adverse reactions] (1) This product has a certain immunosuppressive effect when it is used at a higher dose than the recommended dose.

(2) It has embryonic toxicity, and should be used with caution during pregnancy and lactation.
